Analog
Festival
Analog is a music and film festival celebrating the analog revival in the digital age.
Vision and Strategy
Analog is a music and film festival that celebrates the tactile, nostalgic, and artistic beauty of analog formats in a hyper-digital world. Rooted in a deep love for vinyl records, 35mm film, and independent storytelling, the festival brings together communities that value slow, intentional creativity over algorithmic convenience. My role was to create a compelling and authentic brand identity that captures the soul of this analog renaissance while appealing to a generation caught between retro and modern.
In an age where everything is optimized for speed, efficiency, and screen-time, Analog needed a brand that would slow things down. The identity had to: - Capture the warmth and texture of analog media (film grain, record hiss, camera clicks) - Resonate with a young but nostalgic audience that’s rediscovering retro tools - Stand out in a saturated event landscape with bold yet simple visuals - Evoke authenticity and handmade charm while staying fresh and current
Brand Identity
We defined Analog’s brand personality as: - Warm: like the hiss of vinyl or the glow of old projectors - Nostalgic: but not stuck in the past - Tactile: embracing textures, layers, and grain - Independent: grounded in zine culture and self-expression - Joyful: tapping into the playfulness of primary colors and lo-fi media
Analog Festival’s identity is a tribute to the tactile joy of creation. It embraces the slow, soulful processes behind vinyl collecting and film photography, while encouraging a new generation to unplug and engage with creativity more intimately.
